Signs of Edinburgh

Some humorous signs seen on an afternoon's outing in Edinburgh, with a few others thrown in at the end to take advantage of the gullible viewer.

A "Grass Market" pub where the city gallows operated for over a hundred years - often daily.
There is nothing to add to that.

Sweet indeed

Some can certainly use a wee bit o' it.

Me too.

In the "people's museum of Edinburgh", est. by the town counsel addressing life styles over time.  I thought they only drank Ale.

Same Museum.  Do you think the town council is a bit liberal?

Making the most of a name.

?

Does this sound good?

Then this likely sounds very good!  The owner confirmed it to us by the way - "wer-ye-frm".

Our Butcher, only first class
It's an industry
Is this Rumpole?

We only do business with High Class Butchers when in town.
A proud boastful meat monger at the farmer's market

sign of spring

Sign of parsimony -cute isn't it?

Sign of travel fatigue - which you are probably
sharing if you got this far.
